Centimetres, DPI and pixels
Centimetre dimensions at a stated scan resolution can be converted with pixels = centimetres divided by 2.54 times DPI. The preset stores the rounded pixel canvas and then compresses its JPEG output below the selected limit.
Start with a clear source
- Confirm whether you are using Protean, UTIITSL, correction, DSC or another submission route.
- A DPI label cannot restore detail missing from a low-resolution source.
- Use a recent clear photograph and a tightly cropped signature.

Are my identity images stored?
No. ToolOrbit processes the selected image locally and does not upload it to a ToolOrbit server.
