Ranges, odd/even, or every page

Using this tool

Choose every page or exact ranges

Choose one PDF, then split every page into its own file or enter comma-separated ranges such as 1-3, 4-6 and 9. Each range becomes a separate downloadable PDF.

Reading the output

Each range becomes a separate file

Worked example

Three ranges from one document

Entering 1-2, 5, 8-10 creates three PDFs: one containing pages 1 and 2, one containing page 5, and one containing pages 8 through 10.

Calculation

Page indexes copied into new PDFs

Each requested page index is copied into a new PDF. Page numbers start at 1, matching the way pages are normally displayed to readers.

Limitations

Use the PDF's actual page numbers

  • Use commas to separate output files and hyphens for continuous ranges.
  • Check the source page count before entering ranges.
  • Page labels printed inside a document can differ from its actual PDF page numbers.
