What Final Grade Do I Need to Pass?

The required final grade depends on the points you have already earned, the weight completed and your target. A weighted calculator avoids guessing.

  1. 01

    List every completed assessment

Add each quiz, assignment or exam with its score and course weight. The completed weights should match the syllabus and should not exceed 100%.

  2. 02

    Choose the passing target

Enter the minimum overall percentage your school calls a pass. Letter and GPA displays are estimates; your institution’s official scale always wins.

  3. 03

    Read the remaining score

GradePilot adds the weighted points already earned and solves for the unfinished percentage. A result above 100% means the target is not reachable without bonus credit. A result at or below zero means it is already secured.

  4. 04

    Plan for a margin

Do not aim for the exact minimum if rounding, missing work or category rules could change the result. A small safety margin makes the plan more realistic.
